One of the best-selling female artists of all time, Mariah Carey will receive the Icon Award at this year’s Billboard Music Awards live from Las Vegas on May 1st. The show which will be hosted again by the amazing and talented Kelly Clarkson -will honor Mariah Carey who has had 18 number 1 hits since the beginning of her career in 1990. She has also sold over 250 million records worldwide –with a string of chart toppers including Vision of Love, Love Takes Time, Honey, We Belong Together as well as her newly released album Caution. Other nominees for the night include Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Travis Scott and many more.
