Australian actor, Daniel Stagliano, seems to have taken Hollywood by the reigns. Or, at the very least, quietly conquered the entertainment capital of the world by just taking his craft (and art) seriously and giving high caliber performances each time he is cast in a praise-worthy feature length motion picture or an award-winning short film.

He arrived from down under just a decade ago and landed in New York. He attended the famed New York Film academy on a scholarship and after graduation he immediately jumped in with both feet to work professionally in the film industry. He played a sleazy drug dealer in the hearty and exuberant musical It Is What It Is, written and directed by VP Boyle, and had the starring role in the film Conceiving Angus, which was a Cannes Film Festival favorite. The San Antonio Film Festival awarded Daniel’s next film Somewhere In The Middle, the Grand Prize and he plays the interesting, woman loving Trevor in the movie Stiffed. Daniel had the starring role in that film and it is about a waiter who gets stiffed one too many times and he feels he must take care of things himself in order to get the tips and the justice he deserves. It was directed by Mike Baez.

The multi-talented Mr. Stagliano is also a comedian which brought him a hosting opportunity on the trendy and popular dating show Sextales. He then went on to host Showtime’s provocative and voyeuristic look at New York City’s late night/early morning nightlife show 3AM. Obviously, in the entertainment industry, one thing leads to another and Daniel’s experience is a prime example of that. He landed a co-starring role in the award-winning television comedy drama Where You From and he is also a sought after voice over actor. Daniel has performed behind the scenes on the highly respected Emmy winning series Nova, along with the animated show P. King Duckling.

He is also a writer. He co-wrote the comedy pilot Big Wave Bandits, which is garnering great reviews and high audience approval at film festivals. Recently, Daniel was cast in writer/cinematographer/director Saro Varjabedian’s film Respite. The two worked so well together that they teamed up to create a mockumentary called Max Fitness. It is produced by Ed Walson and B Plus Pictures. Daniel also has a real fitness series under his belt having recently partnered with Kate Hudson’s brand Fabletics. His 10 video workout series, ‘Total Body Shred’, is set to drop on the Fabletics Fit App in late summer 2021!
