The Season 2 Premiere And Screening Of The YouTube Original Series ‘Cobra Kai’

On April 22nd the cast and crew of the successful YouTube Original series Cobra Kai, came out for the Season 2 premiere, screening and conversation at The Paley Center For Media in Beverly Hills. The original Karate Kid Ralph Macchio, who is also Executive Producer of the series along with Hayden Schlossberg, spoke about how thrilled he is to bring such a great story line and characters to the screen -in particularly for those wanting to experience the characters who were in the original movies. The series which has already received over 58 million views on YouTube -gives audiences an inside look into the characters of Daniel and Johnny, played by Ralph Macchio and William Zabka and their rivalry to be the best in Karate.

The series, which still gives us an 80's feel with the amazing soundtrack -also keeps a modern touch, while continuing to wow the new generation with an appreciation of the quality shows and movies, many of us had the fortune of living through. It was wonderful to see the past and present cast of both Karate Kid and Cobra Kai together for an amazing night. Along with the original actors; Ralph Macchio, William Zabka and Martin Kove -the show also stars Xolo Mariduena, Tanner Buchanan, Courtney Henggeler, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mousser and Gianni Decenzo.
