The LA/Italia Film, Fashion And Music Festival Opening Night In Hollywood
The 14th annual LA/Italia Film, Fashion and Music Festival opened in Hollywood at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres with a star studded event. Some of the most successful Italian-American artists and entertainers were in attendance, including Andy Garcia, Michael Imperioli, Joe Pantoliano and Diane Warren. The event which takes place the week of the Academy Awards was founded in 2006 and promotes Italian filmmakers and rising artists -and their achievements on both the big and small screens, as well as in the music industry.
The festival which is co-chaired by Cheryl Boone Isaacs and Hayma Washington has proven to be a continued success in LA, while at the same time promoting the incredible culture of Italy and the impact it has had on the entertainment industry. Andy Garcia was honored with the LA/Italia Legend Award, as well as Franco Nero -while other attendees included Alan Murray Sound Editor of the oscar nominated A Star Is Born and writer/director Roberto Ando. The LA/Italia Festival takes place from February 17th to February 23rd.
Overall, a wonderful event filled with positive energy from the Italian-Americans who are very happy to share their talents and appreciation with the world. We are very grateful for their contributions to the entertainment industry over the years and many more to come. A big thank you to Digney PR.
