On November 7th, Dame Joan Collins hosted a Mark Zunino Atelier fashion and cocktail event to benefit The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation in Beverly Hills (which also raised $1.8 million). Since the 1980’s Elizabeth Taylor became one of the biggest activists to use her name and platform to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS working alongside many life changing programs to offer help and hope to those suffering or affected.

In 1991, Elizabeth launched her ETAF (Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation) which offered advocacy, care and support for those facing the devastating situation of being diagnosed as HIV positive. This years event held at Mark Zanino in Beverly Hills hosted by Dame Joan Collins -showcased some of Elizabeth’s most exquisite gowns including the wedding dress she wore to marry Richard Burton.

Attended by such guests as Morgan Fairchild, celebrity hairdresser Chaz Dean, George Hamilton, AnnaLynne McCord and Linda Gray, the event continues to remind us all of the incredible and brave work Elizabeth Taylor did throughout her life to help those in need. Thank you once again to Rogers & Cowan for the opportunity.
