Breaking Glass Pictures and Blue Fox Entertainment’s first joint release, the jubilant SXSW and Hot Docs breakout documentary WE ARE THE THOUSAND directed by Anita Rivaroli — will be in theaters and on VOD June 3rd. Following the journey of 1,000 musicians who set out to create the Biggest Rock Band on Earth, the film gives an insight into the group’s passion to play the Foo Fighters popular anthem song “Learn to Fly”, while trying to grab the attention of front man Dave Grohl to conduct a concert in Cesena, Italy — while also showing the depth of how much attention this idea got on the world stage.
