Star Of The Upcoming ‘Solo Duet: A Hitchcock Knot’ -Alessandro Marino
Don’t you just love it when people take their passion for something seriously and then do whatever is needed to make it the biggest part of their lives? Artists like Alessandro Marino is one of those people who lets nothing get in his way of becoming a professional leading actor. Alessandro was born in the ancient Italian coastal city of Brindisi, where the legendary Via Appia road that leads to Rome ends at the water’s edge.
Alessandro graduated from Bocconi University in Milan in Business and Management but quickly decided to get into acting and took his first acting class at the City Academy of London. Then he attended the famed Michael Rodgers Acting Studio in Milan. Michael Rodgers has acted alongside Meryl Streep, Christopher Walken and Angelina Jolie, among many other established actors, and he was taught by famed acting coach Larry Moss.
Alessandro, not one to stop when he is ahead, auditioned for the acting committee at New York Film Academy and won a scholarship to the Los Angeles campus. All of this is quite impressive enough but wait…there’s more! He was then invited to join the highly prestigious Sanford Meisner Center of The Arts after an intense interview and audition process. He will graduate from this highly praised acting school in June of 2019 and already has obtained agent representation with several talent agencies in the United States and Europe.
Mr. Marino has had starring roles in numerous short films, many of which are award-winning and have been official selections at international film festivals. He wrote and starred in the feature-length film Brindisi, which was shot in Los Angeles and in Brindisi, Italy. It was a co-production of OHIPEN Italia and Brindisithefilm LLC. The film was financed by a successful crowd funding campaign and has been selected for screening at several film festivals.
This highly sought after lead actor was recently cast as “Desi” in the Tailgate production of the feature film En Corse. He will also star in the upcoming feature Solo Duet: A Hitchcock Knot. Alessandro has the leading role in the Brindisi sequel Paxos, which is currently in development. It is scheduled to shot in Greece and Los Angeles.
Alessandro is certainly someone to be respected. Not only for his persistence and drive to be the best leading actor on the planet but for his ceaseless passion for the arts and the art of story telling.
