SARAH WULLINGER STARS IN ‘COUNTERPART’ AND ‘ACCIDENTAL MUSE’
Sarah Wullinger is one of those highly talented artists who has launched a successful acting career in Hollywood as she continues wowing audiences around the world. One of her most recent projects is the sci-fi thriller TV series Counterpart. In the STARZ original series, Sarah performs alongside Oscar winner J.K. Simmons and the thrust of the show is about a UN employee who discovers the agency he works for, is hiding a gateway to a parallel dimension. Sarah’s role has been very well received by critics, as well as her ability to portray the character so realistically, which is captured in each scene –not to mention her model good looks and presence on screen.
Counterpart has proven to be so impressive that the two ten-episode seasons were ordered straight to a series, which is a rarity in this town. The directors of the series are veterans Morten Tyldum (Passengers, Imitation Game) and the emmy award winning Alik Sakharov (Game of Thrones and House of Cards). Counterpart is produced by MRC, Anonymous Films and Gilbert Films and also stars The Theory of Everything’s Harry Lloyd, Nicholas Pinnock, Homeland’s Nazanin Boniadi Sara Serraiocco and Ulrich Thomsen. Counterpart has a release date of January 21st, 2018.
The feature film Accidental Muse also shows off Sarah’s immense acting talents. Distributed by Dauntless Studios, it is written and directed by Sarah’s sister Roana Wullinger. It tells the story of Raffaello Micheli, the son of a famous painter, who tries hard to follow in the footsteps of his father. This movie is definitely worth checking out not only for the fantastic cast, but for the wonderful cinematography which also adds to the well written storyline. Another plus to add to Sarah’s career, is the worldwide commercial she featured in for Sprint has recently been renewed for another year. Over the years, Sarah has performed in numerous plays and short films which include: “Modigliani”, “Closer”, “Marvin’s Room”, “Othello”, “Hey Fever”, “Moon for the Misbegotten”, “Identity Crisis”, “Lynette at 3am” and “Burn This”. She was also cast in Tony Kushner’s production of Angels in America, which earned her high praises from critics and audience members alike. She was also selected for the lead role in the TV series Shifting Shadows currently in pre-production and is being penned by award- winning writer/director Martin Donovan.
It seems like Sarah Wullinger never stops working or pushing herself toward excellence and frankly, we love what she does and can’t wait to check out her latest projects.
