Ryder Beer Releases His Latest Single “One That Got Away”
I recently had the chance to speak with singer, songwriter, producer and musician, Ryder Beer, who just released his latest single “One That Got Away”. Infused with a catchy hook and classic dance-pop sound, the song shares a message of the emotional rollercoaster of young love or even love lost. Reminiscent of an early 2000's sound, “One That Got Away”, is a song that will be stuck in your head as soon as you listen to it. Ryder, who happens to be the younger brother of Madison Beer, is paving his own way in the music world, proving that he is here to stay. After moving to California, and attending the famous Berklee School of Music, Ryder worked hard on his craft and learned the skills he has been able to incorporate into his own style and sound today.
Starting out as a drummer, he soon felt his calling was to also produce his own music and is already gaining rave reviews for his classic, yet modern pop sound. When asked how the writing process works for him, he mentions that being around positive people in a creative space, enables him to do his best work and writing. Growing up, Ryder counts Australian group the Bee Gees as being one of his biggest influences in music and who he continues to be inspired by today.
It’s not always easy growing up in the spotlight, or having a famous sister, but Ryder’s down to earth and humble attitude is what sets him aside as somebody that is serious about his craft and the impact, he can have on so many others. When asked if he plans to collaborate with his sister on some music any time soon, Ryder mentions he will be working on her upcoming album which fans will be thrilled to hear.
