As most artists know, writing and recording your own music, can often be a long and drawn-out process, especially if you are an independent artist, trying to figure out the best team of writers and producers to work with, who also understand your vision as an artist. Singer and Songwriter Pia Toscano, knows all too well what it takes to put in the hard work and to make her dreams become a reality!

On May 27th, ahead of her debut album release in September, Pia came out with the inspiring and catchy new single “I’m Good” which she co-wrote with Melvin Hough, Rivelino, Tauren Stovall and Keith Thomas. After a 6-year hiatus from releasing her own music, “I’m Good” starts out as a vulnerable ballad, then suddenly kicks into another gear with the empowering lyrics “You tried to break me down, made me stronger”, which many of us know, is a way too familiar feeling — but also a rewarding one, when you make it through from the other side of heartache.

In a day and age where raw talent is few and far between, Pia Toscano is right up there with the likes of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion, with her equally powerful vocal range and a voice that will give you goosebumps. After touring with David Foster, Andrea Bocelli and starring in the Netflix series “Westside” which detailed her often challenging journey as an artist, Pia is no stranger to setbacks, but she has never let it take away from her dream of being a singer and songwriter.

For those of us who have followed her career since American Idol and witnessed her incredible vocals live, it is finally her time to shine as the artist she is, and we can’t wait for the rest of the world to witness this born superstar! “I’m Good” is guaranteed to be stuck in your head after the first listen!

Next up Pia can seen in “1660 Vine”, a new movie musical that will be streaming online before it’s 2024 Broadway debut. The legendary Paula Abdul is slated to be the head choreographer of the film.

You can check out the new video below for “I’m Good” directed by Kyle Coogan and the single is available now on all digital and streaming platforms!
