Recently John Oates, one half of legendary duo Hall and Oates (who just reached over 320.7 million streams on Spotify) recorded the classic “The Christmas Song” — via Apple’s Garage Band from his home computer. Playing each instrument himself, John interpreted the Mel Torme song in his own signature way, which turned out to be pretty awesome. John also gives a special shout out dedication to all the frontline healthcare workers who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic to keep us all safe.

This holiday classic is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit to finish off the year on a positive note.

As stated by John Oates:

“Since being homebound during the pandemic I’ve been recording at home using Apple’s Garage Band on my computer. For me it’s therapeutic and a great way to pass the time. I chose to record the Mel Torme Classic “ The Christmas Song “ playing all the instruments myself and giving it a little more of a bluesy feel. A great song doesn’t need much…simplicity is beautiful. I hope you all enjoy it.”
