Highlights From the 2024 Cruel World Festival at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena
This year's Cruel World Festival that took place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, once again, proved to be nothing short of amazing! The 2024 lineup included Blondie, Duran Duran, Soft Cell, Simple Minds, The Motels, Adam Ant and many others.
Under a crescent moon and clear sky, 70s and 80s legends like Blondie and Duran Duran played some of their biggest hits of the decades — for dedicated fans who waited all day to catch their favorite bands hit the stage. Debbie Harry, who still to this day, looks and sounds as amazing as we remember, showcased her iconic vocals and signature shades to a packed crowd, who loved every minute.
Duran Duran’s setlist included “Come Undone”, “Wild Boys”, “Hungry Like the Wolf” and “Ordinary World”, which lead singer Simon Le Bon dedicated to the current state of the world demanding “peace for all”.
Also not to be missed were the amazing special effects and visuals during each performance, and the top-quality sound system and engineers who worked tirelessly to bring us the best experience at the Rose Bowl.
