So it finally happened! — The rescheduled concert dates for Daryl Hall and John Oates and Tears For Fears — AND what a show it was! Appearing on stage (at the exact scheduled time of 7:15) at the Staples Center Friday, Tears For Fears opened their set with the mega hit ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’. — then a string of their other hits followed including; ‘Shout’, ‘Sewing The Seeds Of Love’, ‘Head Over Heels’ and ‘It’s A Mad World’. Their performance was phenomenal and the energy of crowd at the sold out venue, was amazing. When arriving at the lobby of the Staples Center, entrances to each section were full of fans who could be heard singing every word of the songs, while waiting to take their seats. Other than a minor technical problem with one of their microphones, Tears For Fears handled it like pros and continued to perform to the audience of thousands.

At 9:00 pm Daryl Hall And John Oates took to the stage and didn’t disappoint, performing such hits as; ‘Rich Girl’, ‘I Can’t Go For That’, ‘Private Eyes’ and many more. Proving why they are still on top of their game, Daryl Hall and John Oates amazed the crowd with their soulful vocals while taking the audience back to a magical journey to the days when music and lyrics were heartfelt and really meant something. It was inspiring to witness top level musicians and singers on stage — and an incredible turn out of fans who couldn’t get enough of hearing their favorite Daryl Hall And John Oates songs.

Most importantly, it is encouraging to see that the music of Daryl Hall And John Oates And Tears For Fears, no matter how long ago it was, still remains timeless and brings so much joy to so many — especially in such an uncertain world we live in today. This show will definitely go down in history as one of the best concerts I have seen and I wouldn’t hesitate on checking it out again!

For those who plan on checking out the concert, tickets are still available through ticketmaster and axs.com.

I would also like to give a big Thank you to the wonderful team of people who made this all possible including; Rogers & Cowan and Wolfson Entertainment Inc, who couldn’t have been more gracious.
