Dionne Warwick Talks To Larry King About Her Upcoming PBS Special ‘Then Came You’
Dionne Warwick appeared at The Paley Center For Media in an interview/Q&A with Larry King last Wednesday. To co-inside with the release of her documentary on PBS ‘Then Came You’ -Dionne (who is also a United Nations Global Ambassador), spoke about her life in the spotlight and working alongside such greats as Burt Bacharach, Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, Gladys Knight and many more. She reflected on her success, while also being completely humble at the same time -when asked by interviewer Larry King about whether her voice has changed over the years, she replied “Yes” and that she sometimes drops the key of a song to better suit her voice -(which by the way, still sounds incredibly rich and amazing, to this day!).
known for her incredible career and over 100 million records sold worldwide, Dionne spoke with Larry King and answered audience questions about some of her biggest career highlights -including that special moment when some of the biggest stars in the world including Elton John all joined forces on stage for ‘That’s What Friends Are For’, for an Aids charity event.
