‘Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Greater Los Angeles’ Virtual Gala
On September 17th, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles (BBBSLA) held ‘The Big Night In’ virtual awards gala hosted by Tyra Banks and sponsored by Netflix as well as other co-sponsors. The organization which helps support youth struggling to overcome their challenges in underserved communities in Los Angeles — is also a place that offers one-on-one mentoring relationships to help guide them in the right direction.
Some of the honorees of the night included; producer Jane Cha Cutler, producer, writer and director Kenya Barris, Richard and Demi Weitz who were honored with the Walt Disney Philanthropists of the Year Award. Some of the nights performers included the amazing Vanessa Williams who performed ‘Colors Of The Wind’ and ‘Save The Best For Last’ and Michael Bolton who performed ‘Go The distance’ — while the DJ for the night was D-Nice.
All in all, a very inspirational night had by all and a big thanks to Rogers & Cowan for their continued efforts in supporting worthy causes.
