Hi Rae, it’s so lovely to finally connect with you and learn more about what you do. Starting from the beginning, what inspired you to become an author, then later a life coach?

Since I was a young child, writing was a natural and easy way to communicate for me. I began journaling at a young age. Journaling felt like storytelling, and I began writing my books through the journaling process. Epistolary writing, where story is told through letter writing is my favorite! It feels like there is a timelessness to that style.

Coaching is just one word to define this work. It is a broad term in the wellness space. I consider myself more of a guide. Guiding people in relationships and career is a passion of mine as well as spiritual guidance. Ultimately we find these answers ourselves, but a good guide can help us get there faster!

Have there been certain situations in your own life, where you feel you can draw on these experiences more to help others?

There are so many experiences I have that are relatable to others. By seeing myself through difficult life situations I gained tools to help others through their life challenges. Personal experience has been one of my most profound teachers.

What do you think makes what you do as a life coach stand out the most from your peers?

I can’t speak for other coaches, however, in my coaching practice I do see a quick turnaround time with how to best direct individuals. Relatability and insight into the client’s life’s patterns and challenges is a strength of mine.

What are some of the classes and coaching you offer?

Currently I am offering workshops on inner child healing, intuitive parenting, and discovering your life purpose.

Some of your work has been featured on Goop and The Sunday Paper, how did that come about, and did you get a lot of great feedback from that?

Some people at Goop and The Sunday Paper are familiar with my work on childhood trauma and relationship healing. My message is that it should not take a lifetime to recover from one’s childhood, yet without the proper guidance most of us never fully resolve the subconscious messages and patterns to feel free from our pasts.

What have you learned the most about yourself through doing this type of work, other than it being so rewarding in more ways than one?

I have learned from everyone I have worked with that we are more similar than different. We have personal life stories but typically the same longings and desires: to love, be loved, find happiness and struggle less! I have seen individuals set new patterns for themselves that are true for them, free from their past conditioning. That is incredibly rewarding for me!

You are also offering immersive coaching?

I offer an option for one-on-one immersive coaching. When you do an immersive program, concentrated over a two-week period with me, you can get to the core issues faster because there is no lag time. It is deep work, but it can also be filled with laughter and lightness!

What is your future for SEEUATNOON?

My plans are constantly unfolding. I would love to reach more people in in-person retreats and workshops where a community can be built on the foundation that everyone is their own healer — and where individuals can learn tools to confidently guide themselves and their lives with greater ease and joy.
