We recently caught up with her to find out more about her singing career and journey. Here is what she had to say:

Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into music:

I am Georgina the Honest Vocal Coach. I have been teaching singing for 18 years now. I am classically and musical theatre trained.

Who were some of your influences growing up?

Mariah Carey definitely! I remember first hearing her voice at aged 16, and straight away, I wanted to sound like her. I am also a big fan of Barbra Streisand, her emotional singing always gets me.

What kind of training have you had, if any?

I have trained in dance since the age of 4, went to performing arts college for 3 years, and finished it off with a degree in stage management. I also have a teaching qualification.

Tell us about your own musical journey and starting the Honest Vocal Coach which has generated so much buzz on YouTube and social media:

I didn’t really sing in front of anyone until I reached the age of 15, taking part in the odd school play. As the years went by, I started to perform more and begun to teach vocals. I have performed in musicals and to this day, I still perform at gigs in venues all around the UK. The Honest vocal coach started nearly 4 years ago when I decided to build up my YouTube channel. I filmed a reaction to one of my ex-students videos and it all blew up from there.

What has been one of the biggest highlights of your career so far?

Having Miley Cyrus choose me to react to a new song of hers, first! I was 1 of only 10 reactors!

Who are some of the artists you have worked with over time?

Oh plenty of people from over the years. I have also done a lot of competition judging. I have worked with Jade (now in Little Mix), George Samson, The Saturdays and many more.

What other projects do you have coming up?

In all honesty, I am just trying to keep up! SO many new songs are being released every week, which means a lot of reactions. I do want to travel more though and I would love for my vlogs to blow up.

What is your best piece of advice for aspiring artists?

Never take yourself too seriously and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. You have to in order to be a better version of yourself!
