“Create a place where others can become a better version of themselves". These are the uplifting words from Fitness Pro Heather Thomas, who helps clients on their journey to reach their full potential with a healthy mind and body. We recently caught up with Heather to find out more. Here is what she had to say:
Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into the fitness industry:
Heather, HT for short, HT Physique for long -I am the owner and lead coach of HT Physique Fitness -a health and wealth brand dedicated to guiding individuals on their health and fitness journey through: personal training, mindset coaching, and nutritional guidance, while also educating those interested in how to build financial independence. I don't just focus on the aesthetics, I set my clients up to win physically, mentally, and financially.
I grew up in Denver, CO spending a lot of time hanging out at my mom's ballet studio. I was always an active kid, dancing and playing sports, but all of that stopped when I graduated college and entered the workforce. My weight and my pant size got a little out of control due to the lack of discipline I had with food and the gym. That's ultimately what got me into the gym -I was tired of looking in the mirror and not liking the person looking back at me.
Who or what were some of your influences growing up?
Growing up there was always music playing. Most mornings, I would wake up to Paula Abdul playing throughout the house -and at my mom's dance studio there was classical music drifting down the halls. Growing up surrounded by music and in the ballet world, I naturally developed a knack for rhythm.
What kind of training have you had?
I studied the Cechetti style of ballet throughout my adolescence. When I finally made the commitment, to get in better shape, I started hitting the gym 5 times a week. I started with a combination of treadmill and dumbbell work. At first I didn't know much, didn't know how to navigate a gym, that is until someone took the time to teach me. That's when my body started to change and my training went from heavy cardio, to heavy weights. I LOVED it!
What does a typical day in your life start out with?
A typical day for me starts bright and early! I'm usually up and out of the house by 6am, which is crazy to me, because I actually am not a morning person. Funny how when you are trying to build something, you do the things you don't want to do -what others are not willing to do. I train clients for the first portion of the day and then shoot to the office to take care of my monetary growth clients. Somewhere in between, I get in my own workout, catch up with social media, and educate myself!
If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?
I would love to create a fitness event that integrates musical artists that are relavent and interested in overall health and fitness -this could be anyone. As long as they are serious about their health, their personal growth, and the protectition of our environment!
What other projects do you have coming up?

What is your best piece of advice for aspiring fitness influencers?
Keep Going. Keep Doing. Focus on quality and providing value to others. Avoid using your platform to make yourself feel better, but create a place where others can become a better version of themselves.
