For those who are fans of the amazing Patsy Cline (lets face it, who isn’t?), the new stage show ‘A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline’ starring award winner Michele McRae in the lead role -is definitely worth checking out. The show which was developed by Patsy’s husband Charlie Dick -was created by Dean Regan and is musically directed by Gary Piorot. The show features 20 of Patsy’s songs which have touched fans from around the world including ‘Crazy’, ‘I Fall To Pieces’ ‘Walkin’ After Midnight’ as well as many others.

Patsy Cline who was the first female solo artist to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame back in 1973, became an inspiration to many other female artists whom she helped pave the way for over the years -including the likes of Leann Rimes, Shania Twain and Faith Hill who all credit Patsy as their inspiration in music.

Playing the lead role of Patsy Cline, actress Michele McRae portrays her beautifully, while keeping the audience entranced with her well studied characteristics and often unmatched vocal talent. Michele who has won critical acclaim for her previous role in ‘Always, Patsy Cline’, proved she was the perfect person to cast in the performance.
